Yale's children's classes are co-educational and open to all youngsters
who meet the minimum age requirements. Please note that dates, times and
fee schedules vary according to the activity. All classes are held in
Payne Whitney Gymnasium. For more information on the YALE CHILDREN'S PROGRAM,

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Advance registration only. Registrations are processed on a first come,
first served basis. Complete the registration form on the next page
and mail with your check made payable to "Yale University" to: Physical Education, Yale University, Department of Athletics. P.O. Box 208216,
New Haven, CT 06520-8216. You may also register in person at Ray Tompkins
House, Room 103, 20 Tower Parkway, New Haven between 8:45 a.m. -- 4:45
p.m. Monday - Friday.
CLASS NOTIFICATION
Once you have submitted your class registration form, you
will not receive further notice from this office. Your
child should simply attend the class(es) you have registered for. However,
if the class you have registered for reaches capacity, you will be contacted
prior to the first class meeting.

INFORMATION
Occasionally inclement weather requires that we cancel a class. In such
situations parents should check the Storm Center listings on WTNH TV Channel 8 as early as possible. Storm Closings are also listed at wtnh.com. In addition, there will be a voice mail message on our office phone at 432-1431 in the instance of any last minute class cancellations.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The Department of Athletics has established a financial assistance
program to help families meet the costs of the Children's Program. Requests
can be made by a parent, guardian, or interested party; a financial
assistance application form must be used. To obtain a form, please come
to The Sport and Recreation Office, Room 105, Ray Tompkins House, 20
Tower Parkway, New Haven, or call 432-1431 and one will be mailed to
you.
A
completed class registration form MUST accompany all assistance requests.
A special committee will review all requests, and all information will
be kept confidential. Please note that assistance is provided separately for fall, winter and spring terms.
REFUNDS, etc.
Refunds due to medical conditions and/or other unique situations are
provided. Please call 432-1431 for a complete explanation of the program's
refund policies. No refund requests will be honored four weeks after
the first day of the session. An administrative fee may be assessed on some refund requests. Please note, a $20 fee
will be assessed on all returned checks.
